Thanks, Joel; good food for thought. My goal is to BOTH start building an audience of leads and prospects within my target profile of women and Asian women leaders. It sounds like a good next step for me may be to record a couple of different versions with a range of tones, strong to neutral, and ask my current and past clients for their feedback! Survey time. I’m appreciating you!

Hi Nancy, thanks for your most recent comments on my PSA. Watching and reading your latest. I think this is very well done. There are a few places where I might edit or switch statement vs. question or the other way around. I think you are getting more relaxed, more natural, and there was a wider emotional range in your voice in this video. Ray Birdwhistell in 1970 wrote a much quoted article that said over 70% of creating rapport & communication is non-verbal. While I would potentially encourage to allow your voice and body to be even more expressive to create greater engagement. But that could be easily the bias of a guy and a Westerner. I have to ask what would work best for you and your audience? And what are your objectives? Are you building audience or are you going after clients right now? I know you have a very specific target, do they need a soft tone or can you call out to them with a little more upset in your voice? This is your CTA, how much do you want to call them out? I would be curious to see what would happen if you did a test video maybe just for yourself, if you called out the folks who are really feed up, and ready to do something. “Are you tired of this f****ing godd##*#&% #m nonsense, being quiet, being subservient, are you ready to join the revolution, Be a QUEEN, Step into Your POWER? Let’s talk!!! Might be fun to loosen things up and get alternative perspectives by playing with different stances, and then seeing where you want to land.
