PSA/RANT: (this is for feedback, pls)
You don’t need to be on social media to get clients!!!

I’m sick and tired of the current culture that business owners MUST be on social media.
That you must have a facebook group
That you must use create a facebook business page
That you must post on multiple platforms

In all transparency, I bought into those ‘musts’ in the past…
I had 2 facebook groups and stopped using them
I have a business Facebook page where my VA posts on occasion
I have a LinkedIn and Instagram account but I don’t focus on them.

You might be wondering why I’m making this post on social media? WHY – because you’re on social media wasting your time!!

Instead I believe the question we need to ask ourselves Is …
is social media ACTUALLY the best way for YOU to get clients? I mean – are people actually reaching out to book appointments with you because of your posts on social media.

Another truth – lately I’ve been using my personal Facebook page to ‘test’ content. Does it get a reaction? Are the right kinds of prospects attracted to that content? Or is it a big f*ckin waste of time (or god forbid, money!)?

I believe that NOT everyone needs to be active for business on social media.

I have a client who went from having 4 years of 5-figure losses to now a $500K profit by NOT using social media. She used other methods like speaking at association events, developing strategic alliances and networking to attract her dream clients.
