I would remove the word PILOT. You know what you are doing and you can help these women. Adding Pilot makes this seem like it isn’t real. Like you are experimenting and not the leader you really are.
The special benefits – like bonus coaching – is something that you can gift people once they are in. The feedback will happen because you build…Read More -
Nice work Nancy.
CAN BEING ASIAN SABOTAGE YOUR CAREER? (Not crazy about this title. Is this about their DNA, their cultural beliefs or others beliefs about Asians. Which one or ones are you addressing)
I would make sure you hammer home, Who this is for, Asian woman, and Why, cultural heritage. Make sure they feel this is tailored to them, and…Read More

Hi Nancy, This is really good for almost any coach. You have a target audience, and you only call out Asian issues in #2, and only very generically. I would go for more specific emotional impact. You’ve experienced hitting some vision of the bamboo ceiling at least once (or more than once), you were told to be quiet, when you knew you shouldn’t,…Read More

Really good input, Joel, thanks! I’m taking away: target their pain a bit more specifically, pointedly; integrate the content of the points so they align and refer/confirm each other. And lastly, the Club idea — I’ve been thinking invite into the club after they’ve had a few initial touches first, yes? Perhaps the free talk, then enroll into my…Read More

Glad I could help. Sounds like you’ve got some nice pieces to work on. I think you can phrase it so K-A LFC is aspirational, and not immediate. If you want your ideal client to be in the club, then maybe you want to give them something to move toward. Look at how other folks do it. I’m sure there is better phrasing, abut something like. “Do the…Read More

Hi Nancy. The playbook is the same every single month. 😉 Go to The Starter Kit Section (https://contentpersonalityclub.com/courses/starter/) and you can print them for the rest of the year! Let me know if you have any other questions about this. <3

PSA 3 – I re-recorded this because I realized that I default to a tendency to educate/explain vs. activate/attract and engage. It is an important lesson for me to remember. Also ruminating on your feedback to turn the heat up; e.g., is there a more ‘appropriate’ way to do this on Linkedin vs. FB? (Never got a Twitter account — sounds to me like a…Read More

Good job on lessening the educate/explain and pivoting more toward activate/attract/engage. You are great on video. I looked at the whole post on LI – there are so many calls to action in the text I actually didnt’ know what to do. When you look back at that post, can you see it now that I have mentioned it? If you were to post this video again -…Read More

Hi Nancy! Sorry for my late reply here. I watched both the takes, the one on YouTube and Linked In. Great job!! The copy is nice and tight, and I feel like it will resonate with your target audience. When I watched the youtube video, I sped it up to 1.25, and felt like that helped the flow and increased the “pep”, but of course the pauses…Read More

Hi Nancy, Sorry for my late reply as well. You are getting better, and I’m going to echo Jessica’s thoughts on some of the pacing. And there are really brilliant places in this video like “the Kick-Ass Lotus Blossom Club” and when you talk about your client & your father hanging up the phone These are wonderful examples of where your tonality &…Read More
