Here is my updated and edited post that I pushed out last week as a LI newsletter.
It got 181 impressions, 3 reshares, 3 comments, and 5 reactions.

This is the copy I used in the post when I shared the newsletter:
    I didn’t think it mattered.

I was grabbing all the “lifetime deals” for programs or software that hit my inbox or were recommended to me by a colleague. It didn’t matter if it could perform how I anticipated or do the things that I thought it should; I figured it might work for me at some point.

    I was wrong.

Tech Clutter to Clarity: How To Streamline Your Tech for Growth

As an entrepreneur, I’ve encountered a common pitfall: the allure of “lifetime deals” for various software and programs. Initially, I believed these deals were opportunities not to be missed, regardless of their immediate use to my business. However, this mindset led me to “collect” roughly 15 tools that I seldom used and did not contribute to my business goals. This realization prompted a pivotal shift in my strategy.

I needed to take my business through the same process I take my clients through: a deep-dive assessment of the programs and workflows that I was running my business with.

What I came to realize is the tools and tech that I used in the beginning, were no longer working, and were not going to help me grow. Like many business owners, I found myself clinging to the same technologies and tools that I used to build my business. That reliance on outdated or misaligned technology can, paradoxically, slow productivity and growth. I see this mistake frequently.

That’s where I can help. I specialize in optimizing your technology toolkit to ensure it aligns with and propels your business objectives. Selecting the right tools isn’t just about embracing the latest or most popular options; it’s about making strategic choices that genuinely support your goals and drive efficiency and growth.

If you find yourself feeling “tool-heavy” by unused software and unclear on how to align your technology with your business vision, it’s time for a change. Let’s refocus your tech strategy to fuel your business’s progress, eliminating waste and fostering alignment toward your goals.

If you are ready to trim the tech waste and streamline your strategy, reach out to me. We can explore how to transform your approach to technology and set your business on a path to greater success.

    • @carriewulfdenprofessionalsolutions-com wowza! I can see why this got the response it did. Well done! I believe there is room here to also talk about wasting money and efficency. I’m hearing this a lot lately. (Or maybe it’s a follow up LI NL?) Also, I love these two phrases specifically: Trim the Tech Waste and Optimize Your Tech Toolkit

    • I love this Carrie. The title is catchy and the story compelling and relatable. It makes me of think about money (cost of tech) and the impact on business growth.

    • Way to go for getting this done Carrie (we talked about it last week in the Club) – and so successfully!! One suggestion – could you tell us HOW your business transformed after ditching all the excess and streamlining? You say “pivotal shift” “slow productivity and growth” but wonder if it’s like “had XX more hours to spend on YY because didn’t have inefficient systems” or “grew business ZZ% because was in so much flow and fine tuned optimization” or something like that? I think people want to know “how MY business could grow and improve if I did this method”
