Finally! Breathing space from moving my mom – enough to get some coherence and get this party started! First content attempt – please let me know what lands and what misses. Also, my CP is visual, but this apparently wanted to come through in written.
PSA: Sometimes you have better things to do than hustle!
In our culture, if you’re not working every minute, you’re lazy. You’re not maximizing your opportunities. You’re going to miss out on the great life you could have had – you’ll end up behind the curve.
You “should” be doing more.If not, you “should” feel guilty, ashamed of how you’re wasting your time. Going to become a taker rather than a creator.
I call bullshit.
The hustle culture “gurus” need you to believe that so you’ll need their services.
But what about all your other gifts and passions in life?? We aren’t here to work and pay bills alone. We have other Things that Matter.
• Like raising our kids and truly being present and available for them.
• Or showing up for our elders or our own health challenges when navigation is no longer easy.
• How ‘bout expressing that inner passion – the creativity that nourishes you or that activity that brings you fully alive in your body?Your purpose in life, that uniqueness you carry in your presence, is meant for more than the economic realm.
Start living like it!
When you’re in a season of live that business comes second – yes, you need household income but the time and attention invested wants to be constrained – TinyBiz models empower you to downshift without going under.
I meet my monthly requirements in under 10 hours per week, partly by being debt-free and having secondary income, and serve a few clients with all my heart during that time. No big team. No expensive systems. Just a lot of simplification and focus on what matters most.
So I get to take art classes, enjoy invitations from my adult kids, and be a seasonal nomad who got to visit Africa this winter.
Want to see what’s possible for you? During a TinyBiz Viability Evaluation you’ll find out:
• Clarification of your top (prioritized) optimization opportunities
• Where you can simplify systems and lower expenses
• While maintain profit (and increase profitability)
• So you can increase your sanity and enjoy time freedom
• Plus: The quickest, easiest, least expensive way to beginI don’t have any high-ticket offers, so this isn’t a big sales job call. It’s an honest exploration together of some divergent potential for you. Pick a time here: TalkToKarenJoy.com

Karen, I like this a lot. I think the title could be a little bit tighter. “Stop the Hustle, You Have Better Things to Do”, “Get off Your Hamster Wheel”
I would bullet point the 1st paragraph
In our culture, if you’re not working every minute:
-you’re lazy.
-You’re not maximizing your opportunities.
-You’re going to miss out on the great life you could have had
-you’ll end up behind the curve.
Not sure where you are posting this. I would consider putting “I call bullshit” in big type. Hell, put a big pic of cow manure in the middle of the page.
Take out the “but”, and again emphasize “What about all your other gifts….”
I really like “When you’re in a season of life….”
And at the same time, it feels like there is a mismatch above. Most of what you’ve written, I’m not sure what age the person is, feels like they are still in the middle of the struggle, they have to be there, they’re still raising kids, etc. You’re “in a season…” suddenly changes the scope of the audience. Maybe something as simple in the beginning, “In our culture, no matter what age you are, if you’re not working every minute:” Or just “if you have other priorities”
Lots of good stuff.
