• Ok gang, Look at the Calendar- we updated to remove Maria’s Tech Q&A from the 25th 🤦‍♀️ Thank you for catching that. We extended the 3rd week by 30 mins to include time for Maria’s tech session.

  • Hello everyone! I liked the open session yesterday where we got to share feedback. So here’s me tagging all those who said yes to having a pod or supporting each other. @circle270mediagmail-com @hellokimromain-com @kathymthoodphotography-com @wdnyc2014gmail-com

What does support look like for you? Personally, I would love having a time once a…Read More

    • I think your outline sounds like what I had in mind. I’m flexible how it works but do think it makes sense to do it right after class when its fresh – It might be enough to do a meet up 2x a month and the rest via email (google docs)

    • Hi Jaini- I would love to be in a peer review pod. For me a review of my draft would be best on Friday or Monday after our first meeting of the month. That gives me Wednesday class and after to draft it. A day to let it sit then review and refine so that it is more polished to look at on the next Wednesday class. I would really like to have at…Read More

    • I would be interested in this as well. I couldn’t attend the session live due to having a root canal extracted, and just went through the replay Sunday evening. Kenya is actually 10 hours ahead of my time zone (MST). But having a dedicated time or at least a group to submit drafts to would go along way for me.

  • Hi everyone. I’ve already sent out my email for this week as I was super inspired by Shannon today in the Office Hours. I decided to create my own small pond to be the big fish in, in a Facebook group called Say Yes to Your Next YES: https://www.facebook.com/groups/sayyestoyouryescommunity

So today’s email is unpacking the myth that we need…Read More

    • This is a deeper strategy convo, which isn’t something we can do here on the Wall. But… what I love is you are trying to connect deeper with your people. Please report back to let us know how this experiment went! I saw the Yes to your next YES post and I think you are doing much better at going deeper with your content.

  • Hi y’all! I’ve been keeping a close eye on the WordPress “situation” that’s been ongoing for the past few weeks. Matt Mullenweg, the CEO of Automattic (the company behind wordpress.com and woocommerce, among other things), has been publicly battling with WP Engine, another “premium” host that competes directly with wordpress.com. As part of this…Read More

  • @mariaaskmaria-tech Wondering if you can give me some insight on new subscribers that have @hotmail.com, @gmail.com, @yahoo.com email addresses. We have 30+ new subscribers in the past week with these types of email addresses and no names (i.e. first and last name were not added at the time the email was added). Is this spam/robots? Should I…Read More

    • It’s quite likely that these are spam. I mean… when’s the last time you used Yahoo!? haha

In most cases, I would recommend a double opt-in process so that people who fill out the form have to click a confirmation link in order to verify that they’re 1) Human, and 2) definitely interested in getting your email. It’s the best way to avoid spam…Read More

    • My target market is comprised mostly of retired women, and at least half of them have those old email addresses because their husband or kids set it up for them in the 90s and they never left. I only ask for first name, but if I get anyone through ConvertKit’s Creator Network or the Grow plugin, they are not shown the first name field, only the…Read More
