Here is step 2 of the message, the story outline:
Immigrating to Canada, I had the language skills after a two-year certification as a foreign language correspondent. While I could perform oral business translations, I did not dare to talk to people. During the full-time programme, the goal was perfection. However, we never practiced improvised…Read More

Second draft:
When I immigrated to Canada, I had the language skills to thrive in my new country after a two-year certification as a foreign language correspondent. While I could confidently perform oral business translations, I did not dare to talk to people. During the full-time programme, the goal was perfection. However, we never practiced…Read More

Reworking my vision statement from May:
I believe the combination of language and art instruction for German learners in a supportive community facilitates studying, enriches their lives and promotes understanding.

Hi lovelies!
I am working on my vision statement. I am working off of my Universal Truth: Embracing your emotional relationship with food heals your mind, body and soul. The Mission:
We believe creating awareness around your (a, the?) relationship with food can heal the world.I am struggling with ” your, a, the” also is “the world” too broad?

I agree with Amy, if your vision is around the “your” your mission should be too. (“Embracing your…” and creating awareness around you…”) It’s more personal. I also don’t think world here is too broad. If one person at a time can be healed / have awarenesss around food then essentially you’re healing the world, just one person at a time 🙂

Hi @amyttravs-com – I like this version much better! Good job. Let’s get it sent out and see what happens. Will you also tweak this for a FB/LI post?

Really Good, I would recommend a few changes.
(((I think this is a minor flip but a little clearer))) “So far this year we have been learning from Retreat Leaders Live interviews. Been bringing your retreat plan into reality during our Dreaming in the Daylight, and I have been working with dozens of transformational leaders to build their r…Read More

Great draft – my recommendation would you warm this up with wayyy more emotion (I know this is hard for some cultures). Here’s a rewrite so you get the gist:
I was so afraid of everyone thinking I was stupid, that I practiced my new language with our puppy–who I knew would not be judgemental and would be willing to listen! After immigrating to…Read More
