For music students who are tired of “starting over” after holiday breaks:
It’s not easy to keep up your chops when on break.
But if you don’t want to backslide, SOMETHING needs to happen. These are things my students tell me:
📆“When I’m out of my normal routine, I don’t know when to practice.”
✈️“I’m traveling by plane and can’t take my instrument, so I can’t practice.”
🙀“During holidays there are always people around when it’s time to practice.”
⏰“I’ll be so busy with preparations and get-togethers I won’t have time to practice.”Do any of these hit home for you?
What solutions can you think of ahead of time?If you’re stuck, don’t worry—
I’ll be addressing each issue separately in the coming days.In the meantime, think of some other problems you may have
that make it difficult to practice over break
and drop them in the comments below.🥳🎶

Very nice! I like that you will be addressing each of these separately – builds curiosity and the need to keep coming back for more solutions.
