    • Dan, i think you’re a great writer… I read this and thought – who is the audience? I felt like you were teaching me about how and why you make choices…. Maybe this is a good direction for Linkedin.
I feel like it could use a trim – and with the 3 difference questions at the closing I feel overwhelmed with action, to the point that I may not…Read More

      • Thanks, Daniela! Good point about the questions. I need to focus the end, not blast out options!
I mainly use Linked In, and the intent is to educate my potential clients (coaches, consultants, entrepreneurs, and transformational leaders) how I work to define a client’s brand attributes and then design images to express that. Thanks for your feedback!

    • I’m going to agree w/ Daniela. Great writing. Love the explanation of how you work. Too many questions at the end.

    • I added a call to action (Schedule a consultation with a calendar link) and posted this case study to Linked In (tagging the client) yesterday. It’s performed very well on Linked In (over 1500 impressions in 24 hours and 35 likes). I attribute a lot of this to the client’s robust network. I also PMed the posting to a number of acquaintances,…Read More

    • I saw this post. The only suggestion I had was why didn’t you tag your client in the post? (I only saw it on FB, maybe you did on LinkedIN)
This is very well written. Good work.
Those who liked – have you met them? Do you need to meet them?
Sometimes I will go to the comment when someone likes and ask them a question to get them to engage if I…Read More

      • Thanks for your feedback, Amy. Ariana and I aren’t connected on Facebook. But we are on Linked In, and I tagged. She’s got a very robust network! Over 3,200 impressions, 60 likes, and 20 comments. I engaged all the comments and scanned all the likes looking for people I should connect with. Ariana reposted the post with her own preface, and tagged…Read More

    • Looking for feedback. Does the feeling come across? Too long?

    • @danbadassity-com – these are my two favorite hooks – way to brainstorm MANY and get the ideas flowing: Ever been mugged by a painting?
Vincent Van Gogh mugged me in broad daylight.

    • @danbadassity-com – as far as the content goes, I loved the entire thing – minus the 2nd paragraph- I actually got lost there, and probably would have not kept reading. But if you take that out, I think it still flows very well and gets the point across. I also wan tot share that there is a way to transiton to the CTA that will really tie it all…Read More

Ever been mugged by a work of art?

A couple of weeks ago I went to Chicago’s Art Institute to take in a Van Gogh exhibition. The first painting, a self-portrait, stopped me cold and just wouldn’t let me pass.

Van Gogh’s face was charged, vibrating, buzzing with luminous energy. Each whisker of his…Read More
