Ask Me Anything!
1. TOPIC: The journey from beginner to performer
Whether you’re starting off on voice or another instrument, there are certain qualities you need in order to be comfortable and confident playing or singing in front of others. Even simple pieces in informal settings may cause anxiety or jitters.
Has this happened to you? What…Read More-

#3 is fascinating to me. I remember getting guitar lessons but not really wanting to do them. I would have loved to have some exercises that encouraged me to pursue music.

As a violin teacher and chamber music coach, I had been working at five locations for two or three years and it was starting to take a toll. Between the long drives, the disparate calendars, and the large number of students, I didn’t feel able to give my students the attention they deserve. I was frequently tired and haggard, unable to remember w…Read More

This is obviously not the whole thing, and it’s already long. Maybe publish as a serial? The thought of a series of videos about this topic makes my stomach churn. Maybe I’ll be ready for it after I post the other videos that have been queuing up for CPC!

We can also make sure you have it worked out so your stomach doesn’t churn. I would love for you to share with us what is the cause for the churn. It is good to talk…Read More

My 3 expert tips:
We’ve all been told disease begins in the gut.

We tend to dismiss stress like a pesky fly. It’s unpleasant and annoying, but in the scheme of things…Read More

Your 4th topic – how you learned to play violin again after having a stroke – is inspiring. It sounds like a great title for a TEDx talk!
